If you're new to cycling or simply new to Norfolk here are some ideas to get you started and sustainable initiatives that we support.
Throughout the warmer months of 2024 we are holding a number of social cycle ride events in the series - aptly named - First Sunday's. You've guessed it, on the first Sunday of every month (from May to October) we are hosting a no-drop social ride to cover approx 40 miles of Norfolk countryside and coastline. Each event will aim to break into groups to suit all levels of riders and will of course include a cafe stop! Join us! For more info please check out our Events page or our Facebook page.
Please enjoy a range of routes that we have tried and tested (many times!) around the north west coast of Norfolk. Norfolk also has two long distance cycle routes The Rebellion Way and Peddars Way.
Feel free to use our spacious car park before heading out for a days ride.

Each quarter we publish a Newsletter with news from the shop, interesting cycling articles and details of any in store offers. You can sign up to receive the newsletter by email each month.
Are you a member of a local cycling club? We are offering members of local cycling clubs 10% off servicing (including parts). Get in touch to book in your bike for a little TLC.
We have a loyalty progam for all our customers. All customers who give us their email address receive an email with details on how to join; plus you can find a sign-up URL on your receipt. There is a bonus when you first join and you get £1 for every £100 you spend. Not sure if you have a loyalty balance then get in touch and we can tell you or enrol you.
We are delighted to announce a partnership with Inntravel, a Yorkshire based travel company.
Inntravel have been offering cycling holidays in Norfolk since 2022 and they have proved very popular with tailor made routes across the beautiful Norfolk coastline from The Rose and Crown in Snettisham across to The Victoria at Holkham, Blakeney House and Cley Windmill, which are all fabulous places to stay.
Open Sky Cylces are delighted to have been selected to supply the bikes, e bikes and a support service to Inn Travels customers for the 2024 season.

Brancaster provides the perfect base the North Norfolk coast with miles and miles of unspoilt sand and shallow water.
With just nine luxurious bedrooms and suites, as well as a bar and restaurant, The Ship Hotel at Brancaster is possibly the perfect small hotel, just a few minutes from the amazing beach.

If the North Norfolk Coast is about anything, it’s about getting outside to explore the coast and country lanes. The Ship has paddleboards and cycles available for guests to hire – including electric bikes for those who wish to take things a little easier – and recommends a number of local walks.
